Last year's \u003ci\u003eTetra AD\u003c\/i\u003e EP blew through two pressings in a matter of days, and 2016's \u003ci\u003eOh, Diane\u003c\/i\u003e 7\" continues to get rave reviews and is also nearly OOP.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWell, we suckered \u003cb\u003eMetavari\u003c\/b\u003e into another EP as part of our monthly 7\" series, and they were eager to pair up with another legendary electronic artist, \u003cb\u003eMakeup And Vanity Set\u003c\/b\u003e!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth artists worked together during the writing and recording process to try to align this release thematically and sonically - bringing in a strong industrial influence alongside their modern synth and retro-electronic sound. Both of these tracks are also congruent in their stances on the current political climate of our country. While the \u003cb\u003eMetavari\u003c\/b\u003e half uses gorgeous, haunting vocals in a metaphor about injustice, \u003cb\u003eMakeup And Vanity Set\u003c\/b\u003e takes a sharp stance on gun control through a poignant sound bite placed perfectly in the midst of the KMFDM-like sonic pummeling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is the June release of our inaugural Seven Inch Of The Month Club.
